17. Does your state have a plan for reducing carbon emissions?
If so, is a specific role for bicycling a part of that plan?

A place for folks to provide information as to what is going on in biking in WV. This information will be used to respond to the League of American Bicyclists survey due March 2009. This survey is used to rank states. The League of American Bicyclists announced their first annual ranking of Bicycle Friendly States, scoring all 50 states on more than 70 factors. WV came in last. We think it is a lack of information. Help us gather information. Thank you!

Yes, West Virginia has a plan for reducing carbon emissions.
There are currently no specific goals concerning the use of bicycles as an alternative means of transportation to reduce carbon emissions.
